TurtleTot Wraparound Care is a new program offered to families with children in 4K at the Early Learning Center. TurtleTot, combined with your child's 4K enrollment, provides a full school-day-length activity, from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. during the school year. 

KidStop is the Rec Department childcare program. It provides on-site childcare before and after school for families who need it. 

Families can drop off their 4K child at the ELC from 7:15 to 8:00 a.m., and the children will be in childcare until 8:45 a.m., when they transition to their other activity (TurtleTot or 4K). 

In the afternoon, children will transition from their activity (TurtleTot or 4K) to KidStop at 3:45 p.m. Children in afternoon KidStop need to be picked up before 5:30 p.m.

A $50 registration fee is due up front, whether you are enrolling in Wraparound, KidStop, or both. One enrollment fee covers all.

In addition, weekly fees are paid to participate in both TurtleTot Wraparound Care and KidStop. See prices below.

Turtletot Wraparound Care:
$50 per week throughout the school year.

KidStop before- and after-school childcare:
$35 per week for mornings
$35 per week for afternoons

**NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN FOR DAYS MISSED**

Payments are due the Friday before the week of service. Weeks with less than 5 school days will be prorated ahead of time.

Step 1. Fill out our interest form here.

Step 2. Families who have filled out the interest form will be contacted by the Recreation Department to enroll in their activity, if available. 

Step 3. Families who are eligible to enroll will complete the full registration process through the Recreation Department software.
A link will be emailed directly. 
Families must either have or establish an account in the system to proceed with this.
It is important that an account is created in the name of the parent and the child is added as an additional account member. 

During the registration process, all necessary information about your child will be collected. This includes emergency contact, medical information, etc. Please set aside 5-10 min to get this completed.

A child enrolled in the 4K morning session at the ELC can expect the following schedule:

7:15 - 8:45 a.m. - Morning KidStop childcare (Optional - Register with the Rec Dept)
8:45 - 11:45 a.m. - 4K with ELC staff (Register with ELC)
11:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. - TurtleTot Wraparound Care (Register with the Rec Dept)
3:45 - 5:30 p.m. - Afternoon KidStop childcare (Optional - Register with the Rec Dept)

A child enrolled in the 4K afternoon session at the ELC can expect the following schedule:

7:15 - 8:45 a.m. - Morning KidStop childcare (Optional - Register with the Rec Dept)
8:45 - 12:45 a.m. - TurtleTot Wraparound Care (Register with the Rec Dept)
12:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. - 4K with ELC staff (Register with ELC)
3:45 - 5:30 p.m. - Afternoon KidStop childcare (Optional - Register with the Rec Dept)

Children will receive breakfast at 8:45 a.m. and lunch at 1:00 p.m. if they are attending a program at that time of day.

Both morning and afternoon TurtleTot Wraparound care will have an optional snack time. Families are responsible for providing snacks from home. Additional snacks may be stored on site in your child’s cubby. An afternoon snack is strongly encouraged, especially for students participating in the KidStop after-school program.

Children who are in attendance at 12:00 p.m. will have a scheduled nap/rest time of about 30 minutes.
Sleeping is not required, but lights will be dimmed, and children are expected to rest quietly. Families are welcome to send a pillow/blanket/sleeping bag to school for their child.
