The Sheboygan Community Recreation Department offers activities for residents of the Sheboygan community!

One of five major departments within the Sheboygan Area School District the Community Recreation Department provides recreation programming for all individuals living within the 50,000 resident school district.

Utilizing 13 public school facilities as well as a variety of city owned park facilities, the department emphasizes programming in the area of athletics, aquatics, fitness, drama, child care, summer enrichment classes, special events as well as general leisure activities and services.
Operating on an annual budget of approximately $2.4 million, the department employs four full time professional staff members, three secretarial staff members, two full-time maintenance personnel and approximately 325 part-time seasonal employees.
