In the interest of life-long enrichment, the Sheboygan Area School District-Community Recreation Department serves and supports the community through development, initiation, coordination, and support of a variety of recreational activities and facilities for people of all ages.

Before- and After-School Care

The KidStop community partnership meets the needs of families by providing a safe and affordable place for students before and after school.

Swim Lessons

The Community Recreation Department offers swim lessons for kids ages 6 months to 7 years at James Madison Elementary School pool.

Able In Action Club

Able in Action is open to any person ages 7 and older who has a physical or cognitive disability. The purpose of this club is to provide people with special needs the opportunity for recreation and social activities and to increase their independence and community awareness.

Sheboygan Theatre Company

The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) was founded in 1934 and is part of the Community Recreation Department. STC is dedicated to enriching the community and beyond, offering volunteer-powered productions and dynamic educational opportunities that celebrate the arts and inspire audiences.
